As mentioned a few posts ago Heather & I are running in Novembers ‘Tough Mudder Challenge’. 12 miles of mud and difficult terrain with 25+ obstacles thrown in the way. Our aim is to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
It can be quite difficult taking time off when you’re self employed, even more so if your business doesn’t stop when you do. Thankfully this year Heather & I have been provided with help from a most welcome quarter.
It’s been a recurring blog post during my training, but yesterday Tough Mudder became a reality for me. 11 miles of mud & obstacles at Drumlanrigg Castle in Scotland.
If you are a regular reader of our blog you may already know my intention to take part in ‘Tough Mudder Scotland 2012′, possibly the most difficult 1 day obstacle course to be found anywhere.
There will be no new blog posts for a fortnight as Heather & I are taking a holiday.
Office hours will be limited during this time to 3 days a week Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Any regulars to our cottages will know that Heather & I are regular followers of various bands. We try & get to gigs as often as possible (living in the middle of nowhere that’s not easy).
