This delightful detached stone single storey cottage is situated in the small and attractive South Lakeland village of Heversham, next to Levens, which is just ten minutes away from the market town of Kendal 

Entering the property, which is all ground floor, step from the generous hallway into the light filled lounge. The room has an open plan dining area, comfortable seating, smart TV and wood burner, perfect for enjoying on those chilly evenings. There is a selection of DVDs and games for your enjoyment. Step across the hallway to the well-equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, digital radio, USB sockets and breakfast bar. There is a charming stable door from which you can hear birdsong or the church bells.

The generous bathroom has a spacious modern walk in shower.

Two bedrooms are beautifully presented. The larger bedroom has a super king bed which can be split on request to adult single beds.

Stepping outside there are rockery borders, limestone walls and a patio area with seating to enjoy a coffee. The enchanting old doorway and arch leading out of the garden were once part of the original church wall. There is secure bike storage and off-road parking for two cars at this dog-friendly accommodation. A pub-restaurant is less than five minutes' walk.

Joiner's Mews is bright and airy with a contemporary but cosy feel and is perfect for couples or small parties wishing to explore the beautiful surrounding area.

There are many attractions close by, including Levens Hall with its gardens laid out in the 1690’s and world famous topiary and Sizergh Castle which is steeped also in history. Both are less than 10 minutes away and have wonderful gardens, grounds and excellent café refreshments. On the nearby Kent Estuary peninsular are the pretty coastal villages of Arnside and Silverdale, designated as an Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty with an abundance of butterflies and wildlife and outstanding views across to the Lakeland fells. The charming town of Grange-Over-Sands with its mile-long promenade and the village of Cartmel, which is home to Simon Rogan's two-Michelin-starred restaurant, L'Enclume, a racecourse, interesting shops and ancient Property are both easily accessible. In the opposite direction, there is an easy drive to bustling Kirby Lonsdale, with charming shops and its famous Devil's Bridge spanning the River Lune. The market town of Kendal is 15 minutes away, with shops, galleries, museums, an independent cinema and riverside walks. Windermere is close by with all the Lakeland activities on offer on land and the lake.

This super cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Lakes, Yorkshire and the estuary area. An ideal choice in any season for your holiday.
