This bright and spacious penthouse apartment is located next to the 18-hole Carus Green Golf Course, as well as providing stunning views and excellent facilities. This property is an ideal base for couples or a family from which you can explore the Lake District National Park or enjoy a golfing holiday.
The apartment is set over two floors with contemporary interior, modern furnishings and stylish décor throughout. The front door opens onto a long hall, providing access to two of the bedrooms, shower room, welcoming open plan living space and stairs up to the second floor.
The two double bedrooms on the ground floor of this penthouse apartment are individually decorated. Both have zip and link beds which can be joined to provide a super king bed or split into two single beds, however best suits your party. Each bedroom is well-equipped with a wall mounted, flat screen TV which you can relax in front of after a long day on the green. Both rooms have double wardrobes and drawer storage for all your belongings. Bedroom 1 has views over the golf course, across the hall the second bedroom has stunning views towards Kendal and access to a large linked bathroom.
The ground floor shower room is fully tiled and provides you with a large walk-in shower, WC, hand basin, heated towel rail and modern chrome fittings.
At the end of the hall you enter the open plan living space. The lounge has a large corner sofa which provides seating for 6, as well as a comfy armchair. The door out to the private balcony looks out over Carus Green golf course. There's a large flat screen TV, complete with Bose sound bar and Sky TV, which includes Sky Sports and Sky Movies.
The rear of the lounge opens to a bright dining area and kitchen. The dining area has a lovely oak table with seating for 6 with access out to a second balcony on the rooftop. This large balcony boasts a rattan dining set, perfect for eating al fresco during the warmer months. The kitchen is fully fitted with ample storage and granite work surface, equipped with quality Neff appliances including microwave, oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a separate wine cooler.
The stairs from the hall lead up to an additional two bedrooms, a cosy single bedroom and the bright master bedroom with private balcony overlooking the golf course. The master bedroom boasts a large flat screen TV, dressing table and dedicated dressing room with built-in wardrobes. From the dressing room there is access to the fully tiled en-suite bathroom with walk-in rain shower and separate bath.
The Carus Green Golf and Leisure centre has a choice of bars and restaurants offering food and drink 7 days a week, from breakfast and afternoon tea through to evening meals. Alternatively, the apartment is just under 2 miles into the centre of Kendal, where there are a whole host of eateries and bars. There’s plenty of other things to see and do in Kendal itself, including; exploring Kendal Castle, catching some comedy or live music at The Brewery Arts Centre, take in the culture at Levens Hall or take advantage of the beautiful surroundings by walking along Scout Scar.
