This magnificent self catering property in Windermere combines luxury and elegance in perfect harmony. Nothing has been left to chance at Cleabarrow Cottage. Sleeping 12 in six large spacious bedrooms, which all have their own en-suite facilities. Outside there's a fantastic heated patio area looking out to the Lake District fells, and if that's not enough you can slip into the hot tub and enjoy the view with a glass of bubbles.

We have produced a stunning 3D walkthrough of the property above so you can really appreciate this great cottage.

As soon as you drive up to the cottage you will be impressed. Beautifully manicured gardens, subtle lighting and even charging points for any electric vehicles await you on arrival. In addition you have the views over to the north western fells and the veranda has been designed so you can enjoy the sun set every evening.

On entering the property through the solid oak door, you are greeted with a glimpse of what is to come, the black and white tiles give way to a light oak floor and the stairs beyond drawing you into the house.

Turning left you enter the hub of the cottage, an impressive open plan kitchen, dining room and seating area.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need during your stay. You'll find high-end appliances throughout, finished with a white marble worktop and breakfast bar. Even the views from the sink are glorious. There is a comfortable sofa and two armchairs facing the fells through the bi-fold doors. These doors lead to the covered and heated veranda, a fantastic seating area with wide-ranging vistas of the beautiful Lake District National Park. Further along the veranda you will find the covered hot tub, a luxurious spot to soak those tired limbs after a day on the fells or a round of golf on the Windermere golf course (which is only a stones throw away).

The dining area features a substantial oak table and benches, with space for 12, a marvellous spot for your group to meet, dine and plan the next day's adventures. There's also a large sofa and sizeable flatscreen TV. Just off this space is a WC and utility room with separate washer and dryer. This is adjacent to the back door of the cottage, ideal for entering with muddy boots after a walk.

Across the corridor from the kitchen and dining area, you enter the wood panelled study with comfortable high backed chairs and sofa, here you'll find a selection of books and games to keep you entertained. You will notice the high standard of interior design throughout the property, with original paintings and soft furnishings all complementing each other perfectly. Continuing through the study area you enter another spacious living area with 2 large sofas and armchairs set around the large TV. There are double doors leading out to the driveway which allows plenty of natural light to flow into this space.

Just down the corridor is the ground floor from the large en-suite shower room with double size walk-in shower there's a small step up to the large bedroom with a super king size double bed. This can be set up as twin if required. There are also two comfortable armchairs and large wardrobe in this room. As with all the six bedrooms there is a wall mounted TV.

Up the stairs, to the first floor, there's a spacious hallway with a comfortable seating area, a place to escape from the rest of the house. There are a further 4 bedrooms off this central space, each having their own view over the rolling countryside, and a private bathroom. Three of the bathrooms contain large modern standalone baths and an additional walk-in shower, the fourth suite contains a large walk-in shower. Each bathroom is finished to the highest standard with marble tiles, heated flooring and intelligent mirrors. Each bedroom can be set up as a sumptuous super king size or as a twin on your request. Each bedroom also has it's own TV and there is even a small balcony in one of the bedrooms perfect for a morning coffee.

Up the stairs to the second floor is the master suite, it has it own relaxing seating area below a large roof window. The large standalone bath is also situated under a large window allowing you fantastic views of the night sky while you're soaking in the 'Bath House' toiletries (complimentary at this property). This large bedroom has a king size bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton. Velux style windows and an additional window at the end create a light and airy space . Your own TV and antique writing desk complete this room at the top of the house.

Cleabarrow Cottage is a truly magnificent property in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Just a short drive from Bowness-on-Windermere, the capital of the Lake District, where there's a choice of things to do, sights to see and places to explore. You can enjoy a cruise up the Lake Windermere to Ambleside or across to Lakeside and hop on the steamer to Haverthwaite, visit the Motor Museum or the Lakes Aquarium.

Hawkshead is where poet William Wordsworth once went to school and Beatrix Potter's farm is located.

Cleabarrow cottage is a wonderful location , and a very attractive cottage . One of the best things is that the dining room and kitchen plus seating area are all together, so all the party can help / chat / . Can walk from the property, see deer from the kitchen . I can highly recommend this property
