Rivers Edge is at the centre of this unique architecturally designed building of three holiday homes which are collectively,Riverside Terrace which is situated close to Ambleside and also convenient to Grasmere. Due to stunning curved design of this property privacy is still paramount in Rivers Edge which is one of the luxury five star gold holiday homes  that were also finalists in the Staycation awards for 2019. Such an accolade is only awarded to outstanding accommodation and these individually designed holiday homes  will appeal to those wanting a delightful and special location coupled with style and quality within. Designed to blend into the environment with the use of locally sourced materials and using local craftsmanship every detail has been thought off by the owners and design teams inside and out. Riverside Terrace is also an eco-build with low carbon footprint from the heating air source pump for the underfloor heating , the water source, to use of the excavated stone from site for stone work  and boundary walling, to optimum levels of insulation and even local Herdwick sheep woollen carpets. These are just some examples of the detail in this distinctive quality holiday accommodation.

Stepping inside at the rear from the private car parking area through the back vestibule which is perfect for coats and walking boots. From here is the central hallway, off which there are two spacious bedrooms which both have en-suite stylish bedrooms, one with a walk in shower and the other has a designer freestanding bath handheld shower. The bathrooms also have underfloor heating and ceiling windows and bathhouse toiletries. Continue to the front of the building which leads to the open plan living area at the front with floor to ceiling bespoke windows which are perfect to take in the seasonal views in this stunning location. In the contemporary living area as well as underfloor heating there is also a wood burner which is perfect to create that extra atmosphere with the wonderful backdrop just outside. Again this space has been beautifully created with the owners and interior designers. Step outside onto your private terrace and enjoy alfresco dining or simply relax in this special location and listen to the wildlife by the River Rothay. Inside the beautiful well equipped kitchen there is everything you would need to cook as little or as much as you wish whilst the wine cooler will keep your favourite drink chilled.

Situated at the foot of Loughrigg, the village of Ambleside is just a 20 minute riverside walk away where you will find an interesting array of shops, restaurants and café society. For those wanting a truly special meal you have Michelin star restaurants in both Grasmere and Ambleside. From Ambleside itself, you can also enjoy a cruise and the stunning vista from the water whilst exploring the more southerly areas of bustling Bowness and Newby Bridge which is at the southern tip of Lake Windermere. Grasmere in the other direction which is equally convenient is famous for Wordsworth cottage and you can walk here too, while the Badger pub is less than a ten-minute walk along with Rydal Hall from Rivers Edge.

Located here at Rivers Edge you really are in the heart of the Lake District Park so you are superbly placed for exploring locally or further afield. At the end of the day return to Riversedge and what could be better than relaxing inside or out on the terrace enjoying this idyllic spot by the river flanked by greenery and Lakeland views which are stunning in all seasons.
