Friday 9 March - Friday 18 March - Words by the Water Festival

Theatre by the Lake in Keswick will play host to hundreds of excellent authors and speakers discussing a diverse and intriguing range of subjects. Words by the Water is always challenging and thought-provoking.

Saturday 23 March - Sunday 24th March- Ambleside Spring Flower Show

Spring flower show of lots of daffs school entries of Easter cards, tubs of daffs cookery, handicrafts, photographs spring, pot plants, floral art. Refreshments, raffle.

Friday 23 March - 24 March - Northern Craft - Beer Festival

It’s a family affair... kids, dogs, babes in arms, great grandmas, all are welcome. Food all day, live music, great beer, good craic, and no tickets – we don’t charge entry. Starts at 12 noon.

Saturday 14 April - Damson Day

Damson Day Country Fair is a marvelous day out amongst the beautiful damson orchards of the Lyth Valley. There is live music, hot food, real ale, craft demonstrations, Eagle Bowmen (Archery), dog agility displays, orchard advice, blossom walks, Morris Dancers and many stalls.

The fair is at Low Farm, Lyth Valley (on the A5074 – Postcode LA8 8DJ) from 10:30am until 16:00h.

Saturday 20 April Sunday 21 April -  Mini Egg Hunt in Peter Rabbits Garden

On Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, every child’s entry ticket at the World of Beatrix Potter will include a mini treasure hunt to complete in the garden and a mini chocolate egg and sticker to be won for every child!
