This deceptively spacious apartment is in a fantastic central Grasmere location, you will have everything you need for a great holiday right on your doorstep! Spinners is located on the first floor of The Old Coach House on Stock Lane, above the lovely Chocolate Cottage shop and Goody Blakes restaurant (we recommend the yummy fish and chips!). The fantastic amenities that Grasmere has to offer are all in walking distance of Spinners, with multiple cafes, restaurants, bars and shops to choose from and enjoy. Other places that are within walking distance of Spinners and are a 'must' when visiting the Lake District include Allan Bank, Dove Cottage, Grasmere Lake, Grasmere Gingerbread Shop, Faeryland and Wordsworth Daffodil Garden.
Guests staying at Spinners can make use of its own off road parking space located to the rear of The Old Coach House.
After taking a flight of stairs (with handrails) to the first floor you will reach Spinners front door. As you enter the apartment you will find plenty of hanging space for your coats and an area for your shoes and boots to be stored in the hallway. Past a well stocked bookcase the hallway leads to the recently and tastefully decorated Lounge/Diner. The dining area features a lovely wooden table and chairs (for 4) where you can enjoy family meals together. Look out for the cute Herdy accessories in the cabinet too! The lounge area offers comfy seating on 2 sofas and a wooden chair which is in the perfect spot to watch passers by beneath you in Grasmere village. There's lots of comfy cushions and blankets too, so if you prefer curling up with a good book or watching the TV you can pull the curtains on the world and relax. The recently installed, high quality kitchen is located off the lounge/diner, you cannot miss the beautiful glass splashback featuring an image of Loughrigg Tarn as you enter. As well as the user friendly details the kitchen offers all the appliances you need for a comfortable stay. Induction hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, compact dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso machine are all available for guest use. Being well equipped and thoughtfully designed you won't need to go to restaurants every night during your stay at Spinners!
From the hallway you can access the spacious master bedroom with feature beams and cute shuttered windows. You will find a kingsize bed, TV, wardrobe, drawer storage, table & chairs and an armchair & footstool. You have so much space in this lovely room, all you need to do is unpack and relax! The white tiled en-suite shower room with double shower (up 2 steps), WC and basin complements this master room. A spacious family bathroom with corner bath, shower over bath, sink and WC is located further down the hallway. Also in this deceptively spacious apartment you will find the second bedroom with full size twin beds (can be linked together to make 1 extra-wide kingsize bed, please specify preference on booking). The pitched windows make this room bright and airy. There is plenty of storage in this room with bedside tables, drawers and wardrobe. You can also lie back and enjoy the TV in the twin room on a rainy day.
Unlimited wifi is available for you to use at Spinners. All TVs have a DVD player and Roku smart TV. There is a CD player/Bluetooth speaker in the lounge.

The location of the apartment was outstanding, very central for both the village and excellent walks.
The best self catering accommodation that we have experienced in the Lake District. We shall return.
Very spacious with the important things right- very good quality and comfortable mattresses and sofa.
We recommend this apartment. It is well designed and thoughtfully furnished with everything that you need, and it is surprisingly spacious with ample room for wet coats and boots. It would be particularly good for two couples or older children as the two bedrooms are very private. There was a designated parking space which was big enough for our large car and the location in the heart of the village meant that we didn’t need to use it during our short break. Although I have no idea what it would be like in the middle of the summer it was extremely quiet when we were there during term time in December. We would definitely use this apartment again if we return to Grasmere.
A lovely property - everything you need and good quality fittings etc. Possibly the best we have stayed in - super clean! Grasmere has a wealth of walks within range - we did not move the car whilst on our short break. Very relaxing!
Wonderful location, lovely touches throughout and so much attention to adding a Lake District feel from placemats, to cups to throws on the sofa. Very spacious apartment The christmas lights in the bedroom were such a surprise I think I squealed with excitement and I'm 52! Thank you
I loved this property for its home feel and also for its personal touches as though one could get to know the owner a little through the decor.
