Tough Mudder Scotland draws nearer

If you are a regular reader of our blog you may already know my intention to take part in ‘Tough Mudder Scotland 2012′, possibly the most difficult 1 day obstacle course to be found anywhere. Training has had a few setbacks in recent weeks as I injured my knee and struggled to run more than a few miles before my leg seized up.
Thankfully with the aid of visits to the Physiotherapist and some rest I’m slowly getting back on the training wagon. In some ways there is no real preparation to be ready for the obstacles that will be on the course other than maintaining a high overall fitness level (I’m not about to go crawling through nettles prior to the event).
When I last wrote about ‘Mudder’ I’d not set up a sponsorship page, however after a bit of pestering I’ve finally got around to it. My run/wade/climb/pain will raise money for ‘The Charles Sykes Epilepsey Research Trust‘ (CSERT). Although I welcome all donations, those given directly to me are not subject to gift aid so giving through the website actually increases your donation.
